UNICEF deputy country representative visited Ansari Vocational Training Canter

  On August 9, 2022, the deputy country representative of UNICEF visited Ansari vocational training center of the OSAA organization. On this visit, Mr. Ebrahim Seddiq, Regional Director of UNICEF, and Mr. Mohammad Asif Foulad, Country Director of Help Germany INGO was accompanying her. At the beginning, Mr. Hikmat, Program Manager of OSAA thanked UNICEF for its continuous support of the activities focused on supporting children and adolescents. He explained the activities covered by the technical and vocational training project in Herat province to UNICEF’s deputy country representative. Also, Mr. Foulad, country director of HELP Germany INGO, expressed his satisfaction with the implementation of the technical and vocational education project at the level of four provinces of the western region with the support of UNICEF and reminded the participants of the components of the project, such as general education and psychosocial support. He emphasized that all educational programs for young boys, girls, and children are carried out in accordance with the accepted principles of the international community. Then, the UNICEF leadership team visited 3 female vocational classes and while visiting the classes and speaking with the beneficiaries and project core staff, appreciated the current project activities. In the end, the UNICEF logo, which was woven by the trainees of the carpet weaving class, was presented to the UNICEF deputy country representative by Mr. Foulad and Mr. Hikmat.
