Holding Small business training for all beneficiaries of our projects is one of the major and advanced programs of OSAA. Therefore, OSAA considered some activities for small businesses trainings and has the responsibility of raising awareness on starting and running a business for 13 vocations in Ansari’s vocational center and other VTCs in Enjil, Koshk-e-Robat Sangi and Islam Qala districts in cooperation with the Help Organization.
OSAA In this program, explanations are provided for the beneficiaries about small businesses and professions. Advanced courses such as How to lend, how to get a work permit training, as well as ancillary programs, including CV writing for beneficiaries were the sub activities of these trainings.
The OSAA tends to make a platform for trainees for being independent businessman through supporting the entrepreneurs and small Businesses.
In order to holding small business trainings, OSAA hold Field Exposures. The purpose of this program is to make the beneficiaries more familiar with different professions and related private sectors. Within the framework of this program, trainees of VTCs (Ansari Center and Bozdan Centers, Kora-e-Mili, Chudangar, Islam Qala and Robat Sangi), including men and women, visited the factories operating in Herat Industrial Park, motorcycle repair workshops, women’s clothing production centers and etc. During this program, the technical team of the relevant departments, shared their working system and process with trainees.
Also, OSAA is holding the Guest Speaker programs for the beneficiaries of Ansari VTC in Herat City and other Mobile VTCs in Herat districts.
In the Guest Speaker program, the successful graduates shared their experiences, after receiving the information from the guest speaker, the beneficiaries asked their questions and searched for the reasons for their success.
In the 1st round of this project, we had the guest speaker program for all 20 classes of 11 vocations (Motorbike, Carpet making, MDF, Industrial Electricity, Home Appliances, Bag Making, House wiring and Mobile Phone Repair and Ansari VTC and Kohsan Mobile VTC. Also in the second round, EESC covered 44 classes from 13 vocations (Including Carpet Weaving, Handicrafts, Adv-Tailoring, Beauty Parlor, Cooking, Motorbike, Carpentry MDF, Industrial Elcetricity, Home Appliances, Bag Making, House Wiring, Mobile Phone Repair & LCD Repair in Ansari VTC and Bozdan, Robat Sangi, Islam Qala, Kora-e-Mili and Chodangar Mobile VTCs.
